Texas. Est. on a promise.

Rest is not earned. It is given.

"Come away by yourselves to a quiet place, and rest a while." Mark 6:31
Our Story

A family bought the land on purpose. Then the land gave back.

They didn't know there was oil on the land. They found that later.

A husband and wife bought this land with one purpose: to make a place where the weary could rest. A place for women in crisis. For mothers carrying too much. For families who needed to hear themselves think again.

When oil was discovered on the property, they had a choice. They chose to use the gift to expand the promise. More land tended. More open doors.

So here we are. Open Texas farmland. Wildflowers in spring. Stars so clear you forget how long it's been. An open invitation for whoever needs it most.

The land

Far from the lights of the city. Open farmland, wildflowers in spring, animals that wander close to the fence. A sky so big it rearranges you.

The refuges

The refuges are simple and cared for. No program, no agenda. Bring what you need. Stay as long as the land will keep you.
